Quick Spanish to English translation please?
A few words I have never heard....
santo palermo, padre del gol, hagase a nosotros tu orto, y no nos dejes caer en la eliminacion, y libranos de los brasileros festejando, amenQuick Spanish to English translation please?
LOL!
It's a parody of the "Our Father" prayer in Spanish, "Padre Nuestro" and a bit of the "Hail Mary" ("Ave Mar铆a") but it involves soccer.
"Santo Palermo, Padre del Gol, hagase a nosotros tu orto, y no nos dejes caer en la eliminaci贸n, y l铆branos de los basileros festejando, amen."
"Holy Palermo, father of the goal, let your worst be done; lead us not into elimination, but deliver us from the celebrating Brazilians. Amen"
ETA: "festejar" = to celebrate or to be festive.
Palermo is a soccer player from Argentina. I'm not 100% positive on "orto" since it's Argentine slang, but I'm pretty sure it's vulgar for "really bad" or "worst"Quick Spanish to English translation please?
First Answerrer is right, seems like a parody of the Our Father or Padre Nuestro prayer in soccer terms like fans of Argentina praying for a victory over Brazil.
festejando? It comes from festejar, fiesta. Means being celebrating, doing party.

Tu fan,
Matthew Stephen Rhodes
You wrote "ventilador" which means fan... but actually it's the fan that spins. lol Anywho, pretty good. =]
They could probably figure out what you were trying to say but there are a few errors. Try this:
Is jarabe de palo a girl? If so, then "querida" is okay. If it's a male, say "querido". And querido is for someone you know personally. I wouldn't use it for someone you don't have a close relationship with. If it's not a close relationship, say "estimado".....and at the end you say, "Tu ventilador". Ha, ha. That's funny. You are saying, Your (air) fan (like on the ceiling). I think you want to say "Fan" like Fan in English, It's the same word. Let's begin:
Estimado Jarabe de Palo,
Yo vivo en los E.E.U.U. y solo queria decirte que me fascina tu musica. Mi lengua nativa es el Ingles y apenas he llegado a aprender el espanol. Y lo he aprendido escuchando tu musica! Un fan tuyo,
Matthew S. Rhodes.
Matthew, do not depend on the online translators to give you correct Spanish. Many times, they give a quite literal translation of things. Many things that are said in English would be expressed with completely different words in Spanish to communicate the same thing. Good luck with this and I hope it helped you out! Oh, and sorry, I couldn't add the accent marks from my computer here.
Querido Jarabe de palo:
Vivo en los Estados Unidos, quiero decirles que me encanta su música, mi lengua materna es el Ingles y recientemente he aprendido Espa?ol, he aprendido mucho escuchando su música, Ustedes son los mejores y quiero decirles que aquí también tienen muchos admiradores (fanáticos).

I need a native speaker's help with a quick Spanish to English translation?
"Your Hispanic family supports you!"
I'm pretty sure it's "Su familia hispana se apoyo!", but my Spanish is textbook and I wanted to make sure that it's correct to native speakers.
If you're curious, I'm making a sign for a Marco Rubio rally in Florida :)I need a native speaker's help with a quick Spanish to English translation?
Depends on if you use the formal version or informal version.
Tu familia hispana te apoya! (informal)
OR
Su familia hispana le apoya! (formal)
I would probably use the informal version.
"Su familia hispana lo apoya" (Formal)
"Tu familia hispana te apoya"(Between fellas)
You must erase "you "at the end of the sentence.
This form is used when you are talking about a family showing support for a member of the clan.I need a native speaker's help with a quick Spanish to English translation?

If you are in the UK and Spanish/Hispanic, the chances of getting much translation work (English to Spanish) are pretty slim as
a. there is little demand from English into Spanish
b. there are plenty of agencies and qualified people around.
You would probably have more success offering your services as a private tutor although an introductory course to teaching your language as a second language would not go amiss.origins

What does these sentences mean in spanish?
1. The throw up had just hit.
2. By then things had already gone beyond tags.
I'll be glad if anyone could help me.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Since the key words of the above sentences are parts of graffiti terminology, they can't really be translated. When it comes to translation, you can explain the exact meaning of the expression putting a footnote.
El "throw-up" (1) acababa de ser un 茅xito.
Para entonces las cosas hab铆an llegado m谩s all谩 de las "tags" (2).
(1) Throw-up:
Una imagen hecha r谩pidamente. Generalmente consiste en un contorno de un solo color y una capa de relleno en otro color.
(A quickly made picture. It generally consists of a one-colour outline and one layer of fill-color.)
(2) Tag:
Una firma estilizada, normalmente hecha en un solo color.
(A stylized signature, normally done in one color.)
I hope I was of help.
Greetings :)

"ojala que no se te aparesca el chupa cabras"What is the Spanish to English translation of....?
"Let's hope the chupacabras doesn't appear to you."
The chupacabras, aka “goat sucker,” is a creature that allegedly feeds on the blood of goats. Described as half-man, half-beast/vampire, with red eyes and a snakelike tongue, it also has been described as looking like a kangaroo.
It is sort of like saying, "Don't let the bogeyman get you."
Ojalá is an interesting word in Spanish. It comes from the time of the Arab occupation of Spain, and is somewhat equivalent to the English 'God willing' except that it literally means "if Allah wills it."

Help with translation English - Spanish?
I am busy doing an assignment and need to get this parapraph accurately translated. I am just struggling with the very last part ("delivers a stronger stimulus to the impaired apparatus" (Paradis, 1983, p. 637)"). I dont know what exactly the author means by IMPAIRED APPARATUS. This is the original text and following is the transaltion I have (help me find the correct meaning of those words here):
Beyond the early notions of native-language status, language use and emotional significance of a language, and their respective influence on language localization and recovery from aphasia, langage automaticity and type of bilingualism have also been proposed as factors that influence language localization and organization in bi- and multilingual speakers麓 brain. In a precise contradiction of Pitres, Kainz (1960, in Paradis, 1983) proposed that the language most vulnerable to aphasia in bi- and multilingual speakers was the language that was most automatic and used most unconsciously. he stated that we converse in the native language automatically, without conscious reflection, whereas a later learned language, which requires more volitional and conscious effort to use, "delivers a stronger stimulus to the impaired apparatus" (Paradis, 1983, p. 637).
Translation:
I agree with Raqui's statement and Mai Tai's translation of the phrase in question and suggestion that more changes need to be made. You don't always need to keep long, unwieldy sentence structures in English when translating. You have made separate sentences at the end, but not at the beginning where it needed it more. Also, watch out for typos like converge for conversa.
Aphasia is loss of language due to damage to the area of the brain that controls language. The impaired apparatus, is referring to the damaged brain area.Help with translation English - Spanish?
The impaired apparatus is not a "miembro" but rather the injured area of the left hemisphere of the brain, where language abilities reside, in the anatomical sense of a group of neurons that work together to perform a given function; "the speaking apparatus." [This usage is similar to Noam Chomsky's postulated LAD or Language Acquisition Device, referring to a "hard-wired" cerebral function related to language acquisition in children, which is certainly relevant to the expression used here.] So I would translate "delivers a stronger stimulus to the impaired apparatus" as "presenta mayor est铆mulo a la funci贸n afectada."
I have a few other suggestions where I differ slightly from the translation of the rest of your paragraph. Would you like to hear them?Help with translation English - Spanish?

Spanish to English translation of this Alejandro Sanz song please!?
Called Pisand Fuerte? It's an old song, I dont know if anyone knows about it, if not, just the translation of the title will do. ThanksSpanish to English translation of this Alejandro Sanz song please!?
Stepping strong (with a confident step)
You see mi age is hard to wear well
a mixture of passion and insecurity, hard to control.
You, always so great and I know,
that I have much to learn, but so do you.
I'm still trying to undress
your intimacy at low light
and dress mi skin
You know how to take advantage of the light I shed when I look at you
Mi room in silence is
The air is lukewarm and I'm thinking of loneliness
madly in love (2x)
I don't know what's happening to me
but I can only think about you
crazy in love, crazy in love yes
Everything will be well, you'll see, I tell myself because I'd like to be convinced
Your stares are strong
elegant and studied (careful)
I'm a teenager; but I'll get into your mind
stepping strong, stepping strong
Sharing a look (as in stare)
with the lights out
I start to feel more like myself, more confident
stepping strong, stepping strong.
Sharing glances
with the lights out
I start to feel more like myself, more confident
stepping strong, stepping strong.
It is so nice this dreaming thing
and so violent the truth, I can't handle more
but you know me and even if everything sinks
I'll still be her standing,
standing.

That would be a Mexican expression. It's a derogatory way of referring to someone who lacks culture, taste and who isn't quite refined; someone poor.
My translation: What a redneck!
However, in Mexico it may be used among friends to poke fun at them. Depending on how it was said, it can be offensive or taken as a jokeWhat does this mean? Spanish to english translation.. ?

SPANISH TO ENGLISH translation needed for a poem?
I've taken spanish for a while, but I don't like asking computers so here's the poem:
No Quiero Dormir (I don't want to sleep)
Incluso cuando yo sueno de tu
El sueno mas dulce nuna hace
(something when I dream of you included is something sweet?)SPANISH TO ENGLISH translation needed for a poem?
That's the song : "I don't want to miss a thing" by Aerosmith
And that Spanish is wrong, It would be:
No quiero cerrar mis ojos
No quiero caer dormido
Por que te extra帽aria, nena
Y no quiero perder ningun momento
Por que incluso cuando sue帽o contigo
El sue帽o mas dulce nunca se haria realidad
Aun asi te extra帽aria y no quiero perder ni un momento
No Quiero Dormir (I don't want to sleep)
Incluso cuando yo sueno de tu (When i dream about you)
El sueno mas dulce nuna hace (My dream becomes sweeter?)
"Incluso cuando yo sueno de tu" ..... doesnt sound right. You can say " Incluso cuando sueno contigo"
"El sueno mas dulce nuna hace" hmmm maybe it would sound better like this "El sueno se me hace mas dulce"SPANISH TO ENGLISH translation needed for a poem?
I don't want to sleep
for when I dream of you
the sweetest dream never makes (hacer: to make/do)
The sweetest dream there ever was is a dream with you in it. So why not want to fall asleep? Ohhhhh.......I don't know.SPANISH TO ENGLISH translation needed for a poem?
In English, literally:
I don't want to sleep
and when I dream of you
the sweetest dream...
Then, idk, "nuna hace" needs to be clarified. Recheck the spelling por favor :Pface cleansing

Which free on line Spanish to English translator is most accurate?
I was trying to translate "claro que si" into english, but i had different results from different sites. one said that it meant "clear that if" and another said "skylight that if" but I thought my teacher said it meant "yes of course", so now I am really confused as to which it is, and i need a reliable spanish/english translation siteWhich free on line Spanish to English translator is most accurate?
Your teacher is right-it means of course... I use freetranslation.com a lot, but I think an even better one would be wordreference.com. It will show you the definition, plus things that its used in. For example, yesterday I wanted to know how to translate 篓thorn in my side篓...I looked up thorn, which I knew, but then scrolling down it has colloquial phrases, including the one I was looking for, and how to say them... Also a good spanish english dictionary will sometimes have a middle section with special idiomatic expressions like that. Good luck!
Oh please there is not a good on line translator. Spanish is my mother language so I can say that "claro que si" means "yes of course" or "sure"Which free on line Spanish to English translator is most accurate?

Translation English-Spanish: Susceptible strains?
Hi! I need to find the exact wording in Spanish for 'susceptible strains'. Eg.: Penicillin susceptible strains. Thanks for trying to help! :) (or even better yet if you can actually help me! :D )Translation English-Spanish: Susceptible strains?
los esfuerzos susceptiblesTranslation English-Spanish: Susceptible strains?
Wrong. "Strain" is not "effort" ("esfuerzo") here. It鈥檚 "lineage/ancestry" (Webster: noun, 1). Elsewhere, "variedad" might do, but here it鈥檚 "cepa": "Grupo de organismos emparentados, como las bacterias, los hongos o los virus, cuya ascendencia com煤n es conocida." (Dic. Real Academia Espa帽ola).
Esfuerzos susceptibles.
however it really depeds on what your reffering to or the point that you are trying to get across to someone. cause esfuerzos susceptibes is not really used to often and might come across odd. feel free to msg or e-mail me for a clearer representation.

I understand that you* don't want to be my girlfriend**, Lenny, you are a very beautiful girl and I understand that if*** you have another boy for now, but I am only wanting the best Lenny. I'll wait for you, if you have a boyfriend, I'm sure he'll treat you well because you are worthy of a great special someone. So smile sometimes, okay?****
*This is in formal language
** The word "amigo" is used throughout, but context says that this may be romantic, so I'm using boyfriend and girlfriend.
***The word "is" is in English up there. I'm going to assume that it was a typo because the sentence makes more sense if they actually meant 'si'.
**** The Spanish above is somewhat grammatically incorrect, so this was difficult to translate. Also, Spanish is not my first language, and I'm still learning, so I'm sorry if it's unclear or makes no sense. To be honest, so does the Spanish XDEnglish to Spanish translation... Please help!?
I understand that you don't want to be my friend. Lenny, you are a beautiful girl and I understand that is probably because I have another friend for now, but I only wish the best for Lenny. I hope that, if you have another friend, that he treats you well because you deserve somebody (worth a darn). So always keep smiling, okay?
I doubt a real Spanish speaker wrote this; the subject keeps changing all over the place.

how do you say the following sentence:
"Hopfully?...what a worthless word"
or "what a meaningless word"
i'd apreciate if both were translated, thank you in advanced i'll give 10 points best answer, no online translatorsSpanish translation..english to spanish?
Hello.
Did you mean “hopefully”? If so, the word has more than one equivalent in Spanish. I need more context to give you an accurate translation.
Anyway, here's an attempt. It might or might not work, depending on how you wish yo use it, or in what context:
1. "?Con suerte? ?Qué expresión inútil!"
2. "?Qué palabra/término sin sentido!"
BTW, how will you be able to decide what the best answer is? Or are you asking for the translation of sentences you can translate yourself? I'm truly curious.
Good luck.
EDITED to add:
"Con suerte" is more accurate than "ojalá" in your context, but you can use "ojalá" anyway.

Average cost of english-spanish translation?
I have done translations before, but I'm finally going to get paid for it. I have no clue of how much I should charge for it though since I consider that my previous translations have had a good professional level to them. However, I am not yet an experienced translator. Does anyone know the average cost of english-spanish translations? I'm also thinking that I will charge per word since the document has a lot of pictures, is that a good idea?Average cost of english-spanish translation?
a buck a page, or 2 cents a word. is the low end, it depends also on the intellectual level the writings are, as the higher the literary level the more time you will use to accurately translate what the author point, or nuances of meaning.Average cost of english-spanish translation?
I work with professional translation companies and I agree with The Irish Dragon, no one charges 2 cents per word. It's a lot of work and you won't do it for long at that price, I can assure you of that. Usually the professional companies charge anywhere from 13-17 cents.
I have been a professional translator for 2 years and I still charge the same fee I did at the beginning. 2c a word as suggested in the above answer is not a fee that I know any professional to charge for translation (I would charge that for proofreading for example). I charge 5c (euro cents, about $0.07), but it depends on your experience, education etc. Because I translate quickly this gives me quite a good hourly wage, and you will be a slow translator at first so keep that in mind.
Definitely charge per word and not per page, it's fair to both you and the client (one day they could give you lots of pictures and the next day a page with only text in small font...) MS Word has a decent word count facility that usually works well enough for that. For more info the best site on starting off as a translator, with lots of articles and information on issues you'd be interested in, go to http://www.proz.com
Even when you are not an experienced translator you can still charge a decent amount if you are have language abilities / certifications and a specialisation in the field that you are translate from.

What is the spanish to english translation for "Clara de As铆s" ?
Clara de Asis is also used in English. Santa Clara de Asis, although St Clare of Assisi was the saint referred to.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mission_San鈥?/a>What is the spanish to english translation for "Clara de As铆s" ?
I do believe the answer to this question is st. clare of assisi or it would be santa clara de assisi, which in the english translation would actually be St. clare of assisi. a little about st. clare was she is the patron st. of television, eye disease, eyes, and I believe sickness too but I am not quite sure. she befriended st. francis of assisi when she heard him speak in the streets of assisi and she ran away with him so she could transform herself for a life of jesus. she and st. francis founded the order of the poor clares which was an order which included clare and her fellow sisters (or nuns) who owned no worldly goods and depended on what st. francis and his followers could beg for them. for more information please contact me from my profile! I hope this helped! and no I didnt get this from an answer site i just knew it from my brain.loreal makeup

Leon is right. Only a short remark:
Por favor are two words. Hence, they are written (and pronounced) separatedly.
